Daisy chain down a lane, this title's shit but don't complain!

Photobucket
Henry came up with the title to today's post, what do you think? Its in reference to the cute handmade daisy chain headband that the lovely Sophie from Crown and Glory in the UK sent me. I wore it with my new vintage purple gingham check shirt which I scored at Savers that I like to wear tied up at the front retro style.

By tying up the shirt I can get in on the exposed midriff trend without committing 100% to it. What I mean is I can pull my shirt down if I feel uncomfortable or silly throughout the day, which invariably will happen at some point. My skirt was a $10 bargain from Kmart of all places, I love the pockets and the button down a-line style.

I popped down to the Big Fashion Sale here in Sydney on Friday and scored myself a new Elke Kramer resin stud bangle for only $25. This one is bigger than my other piece and I am in love with the deep red colour. The sale ends tomorrow so if your in Sydney I recommend that you get down there, so good!

Bangle Elke Kramer $25 from the Big Fashion Sale (ends tomorrow!!!)
Ring Corky Saint Clair $140
Nail polish Ulta3 in Fruit Tingle $3

I love Paddy's market for cheap socks, I picked these up for $5 through the week, cute!

Socks Paddys Market $5
Shoes Sportsgirl $40

Shirt down option. The light was very bright today, the Autumn weather has been warmer and less wet than the Summer was for Sydney this year. Such a bummer, didn't get to use our pool or go to the beach hardly at all.

  1. Cute. Gingham is my favourite print after polka dots and stripes :)

Kmart has some awesome $10 skirts atm. I got one and went back for another one.

Cute the casual way you wear the shirt, and the touch of flowers in your head.

  4. Damn, I work at K-mart, I never ever look at the clothes on sale though haha, I think it's an aversion from all the years of wearing k-mart clothing thanks to my parents. You look fab, as usual.

  7. That skirt is amazing, I have one similar, but it doesn't have pockets, I feel a little ripped off. I love pockets! I have a top I do the same with, tie it up like that to show off a little midriff, well, mainly because my skirt likes to sit just that teeny bit below where the shirt likes to be tied, but I think that little peak of skin looks great on most people.
