PFF Day One

Photobucket
Day one of Perth Fashion Festival saw me attending the fancy Myer luncheon at the Perth Convention Centre. There were two runway shows of Myer's SS11/12 collections which included Ellery, Sass & Bide, Karen Walker, Sonia Rykiel and many more of the department stores labels.

Show one was the more edgy of the two shows.

Show one ended and we were presented with our yummy food.

The evening saw Perth's VIP fashionista's hit up the C restaurant, a revolving restaurant in the city with amazing views for the Aurelio Costarella launch party. Above are Bonnie from Bonnie Friday, Laura from Peanut Moonbeam Knickers , Kim from Blonde Suburbia, designer Ebony Harding and Jacqui from Don’t You Know April Rose?

Aurelio Costarella proved why he has been in the business for 25 years with his latest collection. Beautiful evening wear, painstaking detail has gone into every piece.

Changing my camera settings helped capture the mood of the event as well as the amazing view of beautiful Perth.

Designer and ex-Perth-ite Kym Ellery attended the night with her mum, a lovely touch.

Bonnie rocked her amazing clutch and yellow dress to perfection.

The invite asked for guests to dress evening, so I pulled out all the stops and went for an amazing black and gold gown by City Chic and teamed it with a borrowed black and gold vintage bag and my favourite necklace of all time. I felt my look was a little gothic and very glamourous, people complemented me on my dress all night.

  5. Love the way you dress but you'd think for such an exclusive event they'd create name placements in calligraphy rather than some assistants hurried handwriting.
