Fringe magnet

That's who I am, a fringe magnet. If I see fringing on anything I hyperventilate, look at the price tag and die a little. It seems most fringed items are on the expensive side. Well as you all know I am a serious bargain hunter/stingy bitch, so if you remember the white fringed scarf in my previous post, which by the way was bought 1 year ago at Cotton On for only $5, well, I thought that would be all the fringing I thought I could afford...until now. The other day I was walking home from work and saw a fringed black bag in one of the cheap-o stores on Swanston Street (7Angels I think) so I had to have a look. Turns out everything inside the store was s 20% off and the bag was only $16 now, so naturally I bought it. On my way out I spied an AMAZING black fringe vest sitting alone on a rack near the door and the best thing was it was only $20. Bargain with a capital B! However now I need to find a different route to walk home as I need to keep saving for Tokyo and not spending.

Oh and my necklace was only $3 at Carringtons Accessories, pretty amazing really as I have been looking for a giant cross for a while now, and the white t-shirt dress was also $3 at Dimmeys. People are always surprised by how cheap my clothes are, I guess I don't look like I only spend $3 on dresses (at least I hope not).

  4. Your clothes definitely don't look cheap, my friend! People don't realize, (or maybe they just can't be) creative enough. If you look hard enough at cheap places and also add a creative touch, as well as mixing with newer stuff, you can make stuff look REALLY cool and expensive!

  6. Hayley thanks for reminding me about the Happy Birthday song at Dumpling House! They play that shit so loud you can't even carry on a conversation- and on repeat too! You and I will have to go for a treat when I get back to Melbourne. I was at a point once where I ate them every day... xx
