Retro FRUiTS

Sponsored by Nuffnang
I stumbled across some old photos of some of my friends in Tokyo posing for the infamous Japanese street style magazine FRUiTS and have inclured them in my latest Sunglass Hut Inner Circle post. The photos are from the early “naughties” and showcase the more extreme's of the now outdated decora fashion trend. Whilst decora may be dead with other cult trends starting up in recent times such as Fairy-kei (fairy style) or Mori-gyaru (forest girl) on the streets of Tokyo, the notion of “decorating” oneself with objects remains one of the key identifiers for youth based trends in Harajuku. Click over to  the Inner Circle to see the snaps xoxo
