Alchemy by Melbourne Metal Collective
Alchemy, a group exhibition and pop up jewellery store launched last night in Melbourne at 25 John Bell Lane, QV. The designers featured are all part of the Melbourne Metal Collective, an alliance of jewelers who have come together to support each other's work during LMFF. This sort of collaborative, supportive environment will nurture their talents and personally I find it very exciting to witness. The designers involved in the collective are Estelle Dévé, Hamish Munro, Henson, Van Der Glas and Young Hunting.
The space looks amazing.
Van Der Glas's hair pieces are exquisite.
Pieces from Estelle Dévé's previous collection Fall to Earth are on show.
As are pieces from her new collection Mars Borealis.
Estelle wearing the ring set's that Anja Rubik wore on the cover of this months Vogue Australia. You can pre-order the Ophyr ring set as well as the Solis ring set by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or if your in Melbourne head down to the exhibition to see and buy the pieces in person.
Melbourne Metal Collective Alchemy exhibition and pop up store is at 25 John Bell Lane, QV and is open until the 20th March from 10am - 5pm.
