How lucky am I to have such amazing friends who know me so well? This isn't even everything I got this year. Alicia from Sea of Ghosts gave me the cute bag from her store Alegorie, Henry gave me the Elke Kramer bangle that I have wanted forever, Estelle gave me my fave piece from her jewellery collection and I got my special order necklace from Drown all on my birthday. I have so many outfit ideas and I love that I'm wearing Australian made and designed jewellery almost exclusivly from now on because my collection of the stuff is HUGE. Seriously the talent in this country is amazing so why not? Yes it helps that my friends are the designers so I get it for free, haha. Getting excited to wear this all in NYC, representing Australian talent all the way from here to the USA! Yay yay.

  6. Maybe you should support Australian talent by actually paying for there goods. I understand there expensive, but they need the money as much as people just admiring there designs.

You spent over $600 on a pair of shoes from an established overseas designer, if you support Australian designers so much maybe you should spend it here instead?

  8. I love the bag! I am going to Alicia's site! That would work perfectly since I hate lugging around huge bags on the train.

  11. Alice, not that I need to explain myself to you but these were birthday gifts to me from my friends who happen to be designers/amazing people! Also you may find I actually do spend a lot of money on Australian labels such as Gorman, TV, Alpha60, Romance Was Born etc....OH and the Drown necklace was a special order that I paid for.

  12. Yes I'd like to clarify that Hayley did pay for her Drown necklace just like everyone else who ordered one. xo
