Real Living Magazine

Guess what? An interview with me about my Christmas Decorations is on the Real Living website (not in the magazine though which comes out today btw....maybe one day I'll be in it, but for now WOOOOHOOOOO I'm on the website talking about the Christmas decorations I made last year)

A reminder of what they looked like:

It's almost December so it's all about to start again. This year I'm not sure yet how much I'm going to change. Christmas isn't at my house this year so there is no need to go so overboard but I probably will, lol. Poor Henry hates how girly I make it. He wants to have silver and black decorations this year, but as I said to him I'm not buying them and he won't spend his money on something so "stupid" so therefor I win and red it is, lol.

  4. Congratulations Hayley, I agree you deserve it.
I don't do Christmas, but over 8 years ago I used to have crazy themed parties at my flat, where everyone would invite more and more people. It was great, especially my red party, all the food was red, cutlery, candles, made some paintings for the wall, everyone came dressed in red, and some even spray painted their hair red. Another party I had was Hammer House of Horror Halloween party and people had to come dressed as a character from the Hammer Horror films. I had scary sounds in one room, a mini tv with hammer horror videos in another room and in the living room I had nosferatu. Another great party was my Elvis Blue Hawaii, I played the soundtrack and had to large exotic flower arrangements. The food was all tropical and hawaiian style, and people dressed like that too. My flat is too small now and I have too many precious things, so I haven't had a party in a while. Well more than 6 years now. As I said I don't celebrate christmas but if I did, I would probably go crazy with the decorations!

Anyway well done again, and hopefully its the start of many more recognitions!

    Best from London. X

  5. Its you who thinks the Cobrasnake is awesome, isn't it?
I would assume then that you know he is going to be at the Ksubi party for him on the 29th then.
But when you assume you make an ass out of you and me.
    Its all on his website.

I love how you're getting recognized by so many things and you've basically done it all by yourself by just getting your name out there! Its really encouraging to me.

  15. Your tree looks great, I'm getting a white tree next year. Big W have them for $99 and they are about 6 foot. I have very similar taste to you, I love your Docksta table. You are probably more retro than me though. Really like your blog, I have saved it as a favourite :)
