Lazy Sunday

Anyone noticing a trend here? This weekend has been particularly nice, the weather has been fab and my company even more so.

Today I didn't wake up in time for Camberwell Market but all was not lost as there was a fab vintage fair on at the Carlton Club in the city from 1-7 (so its still on if you read this and have time to head on down). There were lots of amazingly dressed people. and awesome vintage finds all in this great pub meaning you could drink and shop! (not a good idea for me, last time I drank and shopped I bought so much crap, ahhhh)

I love the palm trees on the balcony at the Carlton Club. This place has had such a transformation. It used to be the dingiest 24 hour pub that people straight from jail would frequent. I used to go even back then (scary = cool?) but now it is so cool, and safe! I love the interior with the taxidermy animals and wallpaper and the outdoor areas are tres chic.

My friend bought this cute doll as a boyfriend for her Blythe doll. He is so kawaii ne?

What I bought:

This is all I bought at the market. A $4 cheese badge. I'm trying to save for my Tokyo trip remember, but it was really hard to not buy stuff, I loved heaps and heaps of dresses.

I did buy 2 dresses at Cotton On though (before going to the market, oops) They were only $15 each down from $44.95 (bargain!) and are the 1st "new" dresses I have bought in ages and ages so really they are worth it. Both are perfect Summer dresses too, super light weight and comfortable.

Dress: Cotton On $15
Necklace: Arthur Daileys $2
Leggings: Thrifted at Kinji in Harajuku, Tokyo $7
Shoes: I Love Billy $65

Dress: Cotton On $15
Badge: Thrifted from Carlton Club Vintage Fair $4
Leggings: Thrifted at Kinji in Harajuku, Tokyo $7
Plastic Jelly shoes: Thrifted from Savers $2
WOW a $28 outfit

Love those dresses, if I wasn't saving so hard I might buy myself one of those as well.
I didn't know about the Carlton Hotel gig, probably good on account of the savings initiative I'm on. Looked fun though!

  10. Those Cotton On dresses are great, what a bargain!
That vintage fair looks tops, I wish I got into the city (and surrounding burbs) more often (or ideally lived nearby), I do love Melbourne city and I only live about 40 minutes out, but I'm too lazy to public transport and too scared to drive! Hopefully as the weather gets consistantly warmer I'll be more prepared to get on the train.
Hope you had a great weekend!!
