I am living for and loving EVERYTHING rainbow right now. I just can not get enough of rainbow stripped anything so as soon as I saw this dress I new I wanted and needed it in my life. Everywhere I went I got people stopping me to tell me they loved my outfit, so I knew I was onto a winner (not that I need validation or anything)

How epic is this bright pink wall with blue and yellow accents we found to shoot in front of in Brunswick?
My rainbow looks so good in front of this location!
The wind was making the shoot a little difficult but we got there in the end - you can kinda see how frustrated I was in my face here lol. I hate you wind!
The cute little embroidered heart just adds that little something extra that you come to expect from Lazy Oaf.

Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves
My sister Ebony, and I had the pleasure of taking over the newly launched Twoobs Snapchat account on Saturday (go ahead and follow them @twoobs and me @fashionhayley while you're at it, I freaking love Snapchat) Anyway we had a really fun day of shopping the new season launch at Mister Zimi which was crazily busy as this new collection has so many to die for pieces, I want one of everything, but luckily I didn't go too crazy and only bought the above dress in the 'Poppy' print whilst Ebs bought the matching 'Poppy' jumpsuit and a top and skirt in the pink 'Desert Lily' print. This is my first Mister Zimi purchase and I was happily surprised by the sizing, Due to their returns policy I was reluctant to purchase online without first trying on the pieces which is why we headed down to the launch, and whilst the size 14 jumpsuit was never going to get over my butt I ended up being a 12 in a few of the skirts, dresses and tops (basically all of my weight is carried in my bottom half). So if you're on the curvier side like me I wouldn't be afraid of heading in store and trying on some pieces because they can work for you - especially as a lot of the tops have fluted sleeves which allow for arm fat which I know can be an issue with other straight sized brands not grading up the arms in larger sizes. Sizing is weird in all stores so as always I tend to ignore the number on the tag and simply try things on because you never know what will work for you and how you want the piece to fit. In recent weeks I've bought everything from a size 10 jumper as I preferred the length on me to a size 16 dress because the 14 wouldn't get over my hips so that just goes to show you just really never know.
We went to Luna Park to recreate one of my most famous fashionhayley Snapchat moments - me screaming on a roller coaster at the Royal Melbourne Show. Unfortunately I got in trouble for using my phone on the ride (I have a case with a handle that can go over my wrist so there was no risk to the safety of the people below) so the short clip I got was at a kinda terrible angle but oh well it was still fun. My sister was feeling a bit sick so she skipped the ride and my ex boyfriend Stephen who met us to take our new outfit #twinning photos came on with me, PS how good a job did he do taking our photos for our impromptu matching outfit photo shoot? Thanks m8!

I'm so lucky to have such an awesome sister, honestly sometimes I don't know what I'd do without her. Yes like all sisters we sometimes fight, but I know and she knows that deep down we love each other and will always be there when the other needs us. Thanks Ebs for coming on our epic #twoobs Snapchat takeover I had a lot of fun!

Arid Garden
Skin care is a relatively new obsession for me, especially as I'm heading deeper into my thirties (yikes what, how did that even happen?) I'm desperately trying to reverse the damage caused by the sun, thank you to living in Australia! I am lucky that my skin only really gets hormonal breakouts around that time of the month so I don't really have to worry too much about those, but I do have some light scarring from my teenage years. Also wrinkles! Let's talk about those little buggers slowly creeping onto my face. My forehead is actually heavily wrinkled, I think it's from squinting all those years I didn't have glasses but needed them. Luckily I don't have to worry too much about those because they're hidden under my fringe haha! I do worry though, and I like to slather it up with night creams, moisturisers and daily sun protection! So when the folks at Activeskin got in touch with me to send over some samples I was very excited as I love testing out new skin care products to see what will and won't work on my skin. Activeskin is your one stop shop for all things skin care and below are my top pics from their vast range!
The perfect daily cleansing foam that works brilliantly with my Clarisonic. Removes excess makeup, oil and dirt for a really deep clean and is frangrance free which is perfect for my sensitive skin!
Lightweight and oil free this moisturiser is great for those with oily or combination skin as it combats oil whilst also moisturising the dry areas.
Sunscreen is such an important part of your daily skincare regime, I never leave home without it. I love this sunscreen as it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky and greasy afterwards which makes it perfect for under my makeup.
I swear by my Clarisonic, have been using it for nearly two years now and see an incredible difference in my skin. However mine is the plain old white one, seriously considering upgrading to the pink because we all know what pink means to me!
However my dress was covered in this beautiful cacti print by local Melbourne label Rouda that I picked up at the recent Magic Designer Sale. Sign up to their facebook page to find out when the next sale is on, but basically it's a twice yearly sale of local designers old season stock. I always find something amazing at the sale, this year I bought the Poms Jewellery ring and bangel in this post as well as the dress and I spent a total of $180 which is a bargain considering the dress alone was originally well over that at full retail price! I do love a bargain!

Giving some good skin thanks to Activeskin!
I found this cute little lilac backpack whilst in Noosa at the end of last year for $10. I regret not also getting it in the pink but I'm pretty sure I'll find a cute little pink backpack in Tokyo next month (I'm headed there after Vietnam, eeep can't wait!). My new Poms ring and bangle are so cute they kill me!
Still getting much wear out of these seriously comfy heels. Definitely taking them with me to Tokyo!

All the Pink, All the Time!
Since buying this House of Holland dress on sale on ASOS a little while ago I've been practically living in it. It's just the most comfortable soft jersey fabric you can imagine which perfectly skims over my lumpy bits rather than clinging to them which is perfect for the hot weather we've been having (well occasional hot weather - this is Melbourne we're talking about here!) What drew me to the dress however was not the soft fabric, as with shopping online I of course had no idea it was just this soft, rather it was the amazingly bold pink cloud print that I instantly fell in love with. My never ending obsession with the colour pink and wearing it head to toe just never dies. So this is yet another #pinkcore all pink outfit that has fast become a favourite in my wardrobe.

A Day At The Museum
Do you do this thing where you buy something new, get obsessed with it for a week and wear it almost daily and then promptly forget about it for the next few months? That's the story of my life, I get obsessed with a new piece and wear it to death. That's why I've been wearing this new dress I picked up at Gorman's outlet store everywhere this week. I bought it to wear to an event at Melbourne Museum for their current Aztecs exhibition (a must see!) and then wore it out the next day with Henry to the NGV to see Paola Pivi's 'You started it..I finish it' exhibition. I'd been seeing the fluoro polar bears pop up on instagram and just had to check it out for myself and it didn't disappoint. The exhibition is the height of kawaii kitsch, the polar bears are each posed in adorable ways distinctive to their imagined personalities. I fell in love with all the pink ones (of course!)

Splatter dress Gorman Surprise Outlet store on Bridge Road
Biker jacket Vintage from Vintage Sole
Badge Fashiondacci
Woolen tights H&M (the only thing I've bought from H&M thus far as I LOVE woolen tights and they're so hard to find in Australia.
Glitter Chelsea boots ASOS
Pom pom earrings The Bright Young Things on Etsy
Pink cat ears bangle Tsumori Chisato
I was so excited to find this dress and have it fit me. I actually tried it on a few times when it was originally out last summer but found that the ruffle section stuck out horizontally on me as if it didn't fit which led me to not buying it at the time. I have no idea what has happened between January and July but somehow the same dress in the same size actually fit me. I wasn't even going to try it on but it was so cheap I couldn't help myself. Who knows why it suddenly fit me as I'm pretty positive I haven't lost any weight.
RARRRR
I got a haircut and I LOVE it! I need to remember to maintain it at this length, I think it suits me much more than my usual longer style.
Cat eye glasses Bespecd Nara in Tortoiseshell (I want the pink too!)
Pom pom earrings The Bright Young Things on Etsy
Lipstick Shanghai Suzy
Haircut Miss Gertrude
At the Melbourne Museum Aztecs exhibition launch I Scream Nails were doing Aztec themed feature nails. I got mine painted over my usual shellac manicure - looks so cute!

Pink cat ears bangle Tsumori Chisato
Rings from left to right Purple triangles ring AMBUSH | Pink resin ring Keep Resin | Clear + pink print ring Tokyo Design Festa | Red acrylic ring MOMA NYC | Pink gift bow ring Tokyo's Tokyo at Omohara Tokyu Plaza
Tasmanian op shops are untapped gold mines of 90s realness for crazy cheap prices. Mini 90s backpacks like this go for crazy dollars up here in the big smoke but down in Tassie you can find yourself some crazy bargains!
Black backpack Op shop in Tasmania for 50 cents!
Everywhere I go these boots gets mad levels of compliments. They are pretty rad and were on sale which makes them even radder in my opinion!
Glitter Chelsea boots ASOS
Even with the school holidays crowd the Paola Pivi exhibition was breath taking.
Also checked out Kehei Nawa's 'PixCell-Red Deer' while we were at the NGV. It's mesmerising.
