Every time I see Japanese women in kimonos, it reminds me how much I want a kimono... they are so much more intricate than the Korean traditional gown (hanbok).

I'm sure you know this, but you were on Dropsnap! :)E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18236415534705286777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-472985277273339152.post-56168903247029973552009-03-07T09:57:00.000+11:002009-03-07T09:57:00.000+11:00Thank you for taking me on a mini holiday over my ...Thank you for taking me on a mini holiday over my morning coffee. Those tori gates make such an impressive display and the cranes really do have an amazing effect on your soul. I don't know what it is about them but there is something other worldly about seeing them en mass like that.
What is it about those deer and those dogs that makes me want to hug them? They just look so densely furry and delightful.
You've given me that little push I needed to start planning my next trip. I want to take the girls to Sanrio Land this year, well actually I REALLY want to go and they'll just have to tag along.Candice DeVillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17556198036135539946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-472985277273339152.post-2629808741246026372009-03-07T07:16:00.000+11:002009-03-07T07:16:00.000+11:00Great post Hayley! This post was amazing, I can't believe the deer were so TAME!? Also..Kinkakuji in the snow is awesome. I went there last summer, it was beautiful..but obviously no snow. It was wayyyy too hot.

Also..if you have some photos on any of the new shops/shop staff/or street fashion in Osaka or Tokyo and you don't post them on here, I'd REALLY like to see them somehow! Glad you're back blogging and I'm really glad you had a great trip.

-BrandonLactose Intoler-Arthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347490423413989797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-472985277273339152.post-34367093024476205792009-03-07T07:01:00.000+11:002009-03-07T07:01:00.000+11:00Kawaii indeed, you lucky lady! I really want to go to Miyajama now - I've seen pics of it before but yours are amazing!

I always wondered why Hiroshima okonomiyaki was considered different.
